Cathray NDT Service is an agency that provides Non-Destructive Testing Service, established in Bangalore in the year 2000. The company mainly provides Gamma Radiographic Testing for gas pipeline weld joints for various LPG bottling plants, oil storage tanks and projects in and around the country.
We are non-destructive testing engineers, certified and approved by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, B.A.R.C, Mumbai, as an agency dedicated to inspection and providing NDT services for the betterment of the project and development field of India.
Our area of specialty includes Field X-Ray Inspection of petroleum pipeline weld joints, and Ultrasonic Thickness Testing on LPG gas pipeline and oil storage tanks.
We also carry out X-Ray Inspection for pressure vessels, Magnetic Particle Testing on cylinders and piston rods, Ultraviolet Ray Inspection on turbine shafts and blades, and Fluorescent Inspection on aerospace components.
We are certified by the Indian Society / American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (SNT-TC-1A Level-II) in RT, UT, MPT, PT and VT as NDT engineers and technicians, to carry out NDT inspections on project and petrochemical fields, LPG bottling plant fields and nuclear power project fields.
Our evaluation and interpretation of defects present in weld joint / casting radiographs — with reference to ASME, API, JIS, BS and AWS codes — have been viewed and approved by many third-party inspectors.

He possesses 32 years of experience in the field of Non-Destructive Testing.
